Stuff.... and things.

The Bluth family’s new comedy adventures will be available exclusively through Netflix — which outbid traditional TV networks to pick up the series — starting in the first half of 2013.

“After a long hiatus, I’m dying to finally get back to the narrator’s microphone,” said executive producer and series narrator Ron Howard. “Of all the projects we’ve been involved with over the years, we probably get more questions about Mitch Hurtwitz’s brilliant Arrested Development than any other– everyone, ourselves included, seems to feel like the Bluths left the party a bit too soon. Bringing a series back from cancellation almost never happens, but then, Arrested always was about as unconventional as they get, so it seems totally appropriate that this show that broke the mold is smashing it to pieces once again.”

Twentieth Century Fox Television and Imagine Television will produce the new episodes of the show.

Dream Big - Rubik Cube Martin Luther King Portrait

Designer Pete Fecteau, spent 40 hours configuring a monumental mosaic of Martin Luther King Jr. made entirely out of Rubik’s Cubes called Dream Big. Each cube was “reversed solved” or twisted so that one of the faces maps it’s nine stickers into the total image, that’s 38,178 stickers in total!

With a computer generated draft as his blueprint, Pete used 4,242 Rubik’s Cubes to construct the 18’ 6” x 9’ 8” piece that, once completed, weighed about half a ton.

If you sit quietly you can easily notice that:

There is effortless awareness of every thought.

There is effortless awareness of every sound.

There is effortless awareness of every sight.

There is effortless awareness of every taste.

There is effortless awareness of every smell.

How to live in the moment?
Living in the moment is all about living like there’s no tomorrow. It takes practice but in the end, you’ll lead a fuller life. To do this you must realize beauty in every moment, and in everydayactivities. This is your life, now live!
Take notice of the world around you. No matter what you’re doing, try to find something beautiful around you.
Focus on whatever you’re doing. Even if you’re just walking, or wiping the counter, or shuffling cards - how does it feel?  Slow down, and try to savor the present.
Smile when you wake up.
Commit random, spontaneous acts of kindness.  Even the smallest thing, like complimenting someone, can bring joy. It’s the most spontaneous and unexpected acts of kindness that produce the greatest impact.
Minimize activities that dull your awareness of the moment. What are you doing that tempts your mind to run away from the present? For most people, watching television puts you in a passive state of mind, and time slips right by. Daydreaming and getting lost in a good movie or book isn’t bad, but it’s not living in the moment because it places your concentration on something that isn’t right here, right now; it’s a form of escapism. Don’t zone out; zone in. Do things that are active, and that encourage you to look around and engage the world in that moment. Gardening, playing a game, knitting, and playing an instrument are all activities that lend themselves to mindfulness. So get off the computerafter reading this article!
Be thankful for what is.  If you are thankful for what is, you’ll be happy to be in the moment instead of some place else.
